Stanley will be holding bicentenary celebrations throughout the town from Friday, 30th of October to Monday, 2nd of November 2026. Friday there will be a showing of the film 'The Light Between Oceans' at Stanley Town Hall, then Saturday a day of activities at Stanley Recreation Ground, including parade, followed by Bush Dance in the evening at Stanley Town Hall. Sunday will be a free open day.
