Hop on board the bus with our friendly, experienced guide who will describe the hump and hollow drainage system as you pass the fields lining the lane to the dairy shed. Observe some of the happiest cows on earth as they graze the greenest pastures and breathe the worlds cleanest air.
Inside the Dairy you are treated full view of our beautiful cows being milked by the state-of-the-art Lely robots in our purpose built observation room.
The ladies come in voluntarily throughout the day for milking, snacking and well-earned head scratches. Learn the history of dairy farming and cheese making in the region and how this area produces some of Australia's highest quality milk.
The tour concludes back at the Duck River Meadows Pavilions where you are welcome to sample and purchase the unique range of La Cantara Cheeses. Take a tour of Duck River Meadows Robotic Dairy to see robots milking the happy cows. Try the farm fresh milk and cheese they produce, and sample Blue Hills honey and artisan nuts.
