Peggs Beach Campground

Nestled by the coast

Two attractive but basic campgrounds are on offer here, both managed by the Tasmanian Parks & Wildlife Service. Whilst close to the Bass Highway, their location on a beautifully wide beach makes them a great place to pause for a night or two. Tent sites are nestled snugly in the coastal vegetation, whilst more open areas can accommodate caravans. Toilets are available but bring your own water.

Unpowered sites, pit toilets, no showers, boil drinking water fir 3 minutes before consuming, dogs on leads, take own rubbish away. Boat Ramp.  Dump point at Marine Esplanade, Stanley. Self-registration station onsite $13 for 2 Adults, $5 for each extra person per night.
